Managing Director
- Banking and finance specialist with over 15 years’ experience in global markets including New York, London, Dubai and Sydney, across sector including construction, hotels, renewable energy and mining.
- Established and long standing relationships with tier 1 world banks, legal advisors and transactions specialists, which aid the provision of the Global GND financial offering.
- Strong understanding of cash backed financial products and the ability to create disruptive and innovative finance opportunities.
- Holds a Bachelor of Real Estate Property Law from University of New England in Armidale, Australia.
Rory Loader
Group Legal Counsel
- Based in Durban, South Africa, Mr Loader oversees all legal matters and contracting at Global GND, bringing experience from previous roles at Bank on Assets, leading south African insurer The Unlimited, Jetafrique Aviation and Avstar Group.
- Robust skill set including contract negotiation, business strategy, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions.
- Holds a Master of Laws in International Law – Cross Border Transactions (1997-1998) from the University of Johannesburg.
- Completed his Bachelor of Law at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (1988 – 1989).
- Also holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Business Administration (1984-1987) from University of KwaZulu-Natal.
David Sorrell

- Investment and finance specialist, with over 15 years’ experience providing strategic advisory services to Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) listed companies across a diverse range of industries including mining, resources, energy, technology, SaaS, food, nutrition and biotechnology.
- Strong knowledge of most business models and sectors, allowing him to rapidly gain an in depth understanding of potential acquisition targets before formulating and implementing strategic growth plans.
- Highly proficient in financial markets and commodities, with a specialisation in mining and resources bringing comprehensive knowledge of the process from exploration to production.
- Holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing & Management) from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
Michael Garrett

- Highly experienced Real Estate and Property Development professional having held senior roles with Aldar, DAMAC, AX Capital and Metropolitan Premium Properties in Dubai.
- Strong track record in building high performance teams that deliver record breaking sales, whilst reducing the customer acquisition costs, through detailed market research and an in-depth analysis of lead generation.
- Has been responsible for developing and overseeing the strategy for large scale luxury developments.
- A graduate of Harvard Business School in Entrepreneurship, holds a Masters Degree in Management & Corporate Governance, a Bachelor of Laws LL.B (Hons), Bachelor of Arts in Policing Studies and a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing.
Michael Erdogan

- Over 25 years’ experience in investment banking, mortgage funds, debt funding, venture capital, funds management and private equity.
- Director of Hedge Funds Capital since 2021 providing commercial debt and equity solutions above $50m, as well as corporate restructuring and advisory.
- Significant experience working with high-profile investors and clients across property developments, mortgage funds, private equity and other business investments.
- Holds a Bachelor of Economics (Commerce) from Macquarie University in Sydney.
Riza Almiñana
Administrative Assistant
- Over 10 years’ experience as an executive assistant specialising in administrative tasks for companies across a variety of industries.
- Provides administrative support to the Global GND team to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Holds a Diploma of Computer System Design and Programming from the Micro Asia College of Science and Technology.
